This is a sponsored review from BlogHer and OLAY.
Let's talk about aging. I don't like what the sun and time have done to my once-porcelain skin. In face, I am singing a sad song just thinking about it. I am always on the lookout for some new skin care products that promote anti-aging but are still gentle enough for everyday.
When BlogHer contacted us to try out the new Olay Total Effects Line and Dark Circle Minimizing Brush we were so excited! First of all, those of you who know me know that I love Olay products and recommend them twenty.four.seven to anyone looking for a drugstore brand they can count on. I love Olay because they are all about simplifying your beauty routine. In fact, many of their products now come with seven (count them, SEVEN) different anti aging therapies. pleaseandthankyou.
Here's the scoop on the product: I loved the delivery of this eye cream. It comes in a little brush, a la concealer. It also has a slight tint to it to act as a light concealer (it LOOKS and ACTS...therefore it is!) My dry skin instantly looked more hydrated, less tired, and, my favorite, YOUNGER! I like how when you brush on the eye cream it massages the skin and therefore reduces puffiness. Also, many eye creams can feel greasy under makeup, but this one complemented my daily cosmetics routine perfectly!

How exciting! My quick routine if I don't have time is throw on some blush or bronzer...everything looks better with color!
ReplyDeleteMy trick is dermalogica tinted SPF. IT is amazing and makes me look glowy and polished.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my olay cleanser. It cleans and exfoliates and makes my skin SO soft. My skin is also really sensitive so I love that it doesn't irritate!
ReplyDeleteI like the tinted moisturizer & some mascara as a good quick fix. Thanks for the opportunity. Peace.
ReplyDeleteTo add a little color and shine I love to use MAC creme blush and of course any of their lip gloss! Quick and easy...love.
ReplyDeleteI brush on bronzer, blush, and mascara, put hair in a pony tail, and I'm done!
ReplyDeleteMy quick routine is throwing on some BareMineral powder and a little mascara and lip gloss. It takes less than 2 minutes!
ReplyDeleteI put on BareMineral powder and blush and mascara-- it works and it looks as though I actually looked at myself in the mirror for a few minutes.
ReplyDeleteI put it on my BLOG!!
ReplyDeleteAlways moisturize and throw on some mascara! :]
ReplyDeleteI always use a moisturizer with sunscreen in it! As well as a foundation with sunscreen in it-gotta protect that face!
ReplyDeleteQuick make-up/beauty routine: Clean face - plum eyeliner and mascara. Works wonders for a hazel eyed red-head =)
ReplyDeletePick me!
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm in a hurry I simply put on moisturizer, powder, and usually some sort of eye makeup- eyeliner or a little bit of eyeshadow just so my eyes don't disappear. :)
I love me some tinted moisturizer, a little mascara and eyeliner and I'm good to go!
ReplyDeleteMoisturizer under the eye, mascara and shiny lip gloss are a must. I won't leave the house without that and I usually leave the house in a sprint.
ReplyDeleteI buy foundation with sunscreen already in it~so it not only looks great but protects too!

Tinted moisterizer helps me simplify my beauty routine!
ReplyDeletetinted moisturizer is great in a rush
ReplyDeleteI've simplified my makeup routine by switching to mineral makeup & mascara. It literally takes me 5 minutes in the morning to get ready, and with a 4 month old in tow, that's perfect! Plus, I love how light it feels on my face. I also shower at night & dry my hair then (the longest thing for me in my beauty routine), so I can just brush, straighten, or pull back & go in the morning, depending on how I'm feeling. I'm a lot less picky about what I look like these days, which is an awesome feeling. :)

It doesn't get any simpler than just washing up and applying moisturizer. I was never into the make-up scene.
ReplyDeleteI can be pretty lazy and if I'm tired I just skip the routine altogether and splash water on my face in the shower the next time I'm in it.

My normal routine usually blends 3-4 eye colors along with two types of mascara (thickening, lenghtening) so when I'm strapped for time, I go with one neutral eye shade and one mascara. This is easy during the summer as I get more color on my pale winter face

ReplyDeleteBecause I do work nights, and am always tired. I wash with Noxzema to tighten and waken my face, then dab on some Clinique, and I'm good to go. Maybe lipgloss. But that's it!
